He joined Satyricon temporarily for the recording of the demo "The Forest is My Throne", and he later joined the band fulltime. He is currently also a member of 1349, while his previous merits include Gorgoroth, Zyklon-B, Gehenna and Keep Of Kalessin.
He is currently an endorsee of Mapex drums, and Zildjian cymbals.
His drum-style is varied throughout different bands; as in 1349 and Satyricon he extensively uses blast beats, however his newer Satyricon work is more simplistic and mid-tempo.
